ScaleFocus is proud to announce that we have been recognized for a second year in a row as a National Champion for Bulgaria by the European Business Awards for 2015/2016. The company entered the competition and successfully passed to the next stage.

The European Business Awards now in its 9th year engaged with over 32,000 business from 33 European countries this year and 678 companies from across Europe have been named today as National Champions; going through to the second phase of the competition.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards said: “Congratulations to ScaleFocus and all the companies that have been selected to represent their country as National Champions, they play an important part in creating a stronger business community.”

For the next phase of the competition a video will be produced to showcase ScaleFocus’ work, our people and vision for reaching our aims. Follow us on TwitterFacebookLinkedIn and Google+ to stay up-to-date on current events around our company and business endeavors. The judges will view all of the National Champions’ videos, and award the best of this group the coveted ‘Ruban d’Honneur’ status.  Ruban d’Honneur recipients will then go on to be part of the grand final in 2016.

Separately, the National Champion videos will be made public on the European Business Awards website as part of a two stage public vote, which will decide the ‘National Public Champions’ for each country.  Last year over 170,000 votes were cast as companies from across Europe were publicly supported by their clients, staff and peers, as well as the general public.

In last year’s competition there were over 150 judges and the equivalent of 285 days of judging for the three phases of judging, and the two public voting phases generated over 170,000 votes.

The 2014/15 competition also generated widespread global media coverage, leading to over 5,000 items of coverage across print, broadcast, online and social media, resulting in an advertising value of over €17million and reaching millions of business people. Coverage has included The Financial Times, Reuters, Bloomberg, Euronews, Wallstreet online and many leading European titles.

There were over 500,000 unique visits to the EBA website during the voting period during the competition.
