ScaleFocus mentors the young talents in WEBLOZ 2014
Create and compete! ScaleFocus, together with “Technology for the Young” foundation and Loznica Municipality, organizes the national WEBLOZ competition 2014 for web development that gives to the young talent from 5th to 12th grade the opportunity to present contemporary web projects and share their ideas.
This year’s edition of WEBLOZ will be held in four consecutive days, under the motto: “Supporting the young talent!” The novelty is a workshop, which will involve the contestants, their mentors and technical leaders (some of them ScaleFocus’ professional) to work together. Once again the competition is divided in three categories: “Web site”, “Web App” and “Web enterprise” and in two age groups – from 5th to 8th grade and from 9th to 12th grade.
By patronizing the WEBLOZ competition, ScaleFocus’ aim is to support the Bulgarian talent, to encourage the development of new ideas and the successive development of functional and sleek products. ScaleFocus is privileged to help young students to evolve and gain experience by stimulating their work. Once they find courage to develop new ideas, it will help them immensely to build their skills and future careers. ScaleFocus understands that investing in students’ potential is the key to empower self-belief.
The WEBLOZ ’14 will be held from 11th to 14th of April and will gather 101 participants from 28 Bulgarian cities, competing with 76 web projects in all three categories. More details about the place and competitors – here.
