ScaleFocus with major presence in Code4Bulgaria Hackathon
One judge and two mentors from ScaleFocus were part in this years’ Code4Bulgaria Hackathon – a competition for young programmers who want to develop the most creative and successful projects helping the connection between people and institutions. The first edition of the event was held in Software University, Sofia from the 6th to the 7th of June with World Bank Group’s Boyan Stanoev and Peter Stoykov as main organizers.
Lubomir Georgiev, Delivery Manager at ScaleFocus, was representing the company as one of the judges at the competition. Lubomir, as part of his impressive background, has a 7-year experience as a Project Manager in developing specialized enterprise software solutions on an international scale.
Krasimir Kostadinov and Zhelyazko Zhelev, both Team Leaders in ScaleFocus, were mentors in the competition. With their solid IT and mobile experience they were of great support to the participants and guided them through the event, dispensing invaluable advice from their practical experiences and helping each team improve their projects.
ScaleFocus bestowed the winning team with slick quadcopter drones and rewarded all other participants with various gifts. The company is looking forward to forging more partnerships with innovative technology organizations and helping young IT professionals and enthusiasts alike keep enhancing their skills through similar events.
